The Wild Farm Backpackers is located in Wilderness, the heart of the Garden Route of South Africa. It is located a few minutes drive from the little village of Wilderness and its beautiful long sandy beaches. It is situated on top of a hill with 360 degrees views all around of the Outeniqua Mountains, The Garden Route Lakes and the Indian Ocean!!!

Wilderness is smack bang in the middle of the Garden Route between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay. The Wild Farm Backpackers is a halfhour from the George airport and pick ups can be arranged. George is the business hub where all types of businesses are located and where the Garden Route Mall can be explored on rainy days.!!!

The Wilderness area has a wide variety of activities to offer, from adventure activities to hiking on one of the many day trails and beaches.The Wild Farm offers day tours and guided nature walks within Wilderness and the area. (See activities)

The Wilderness village has a number of pubs and restaurants that are of the highest standards for wineing and dineing. There are several interesting little shops that sell everything from art and cratfs to beach towels and food.

Dont have a car?. Dont worry we run a daily shutlle service to and from Wilderness and the surrounding beaches in the morning and the afternoon.Just take the BazBus to get here and we will pick you up. Check out our hip shuttle bus for the summer days.
